Star light, star bright . . . will you be a star tonight?

The only way to find out is to enter the
15th annual Texas Lone Star Awards!

The Texas Credit Union Marketing Council and the Texas Credit Union League want to recognize your marketing efforts with Texas’ own awards program. The Lone Star Awards recognize and honor excellence in credit union marketing, public relations and business development based on success, creativity and informational/educational value.

Winning entries will be announced at TCUL’s 23rd Annual Credit Union Marketing and Business Conference, on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010. Specific awards won’t be announced prior to the awards presentation; however, award finalists will be notified by e-mail in advance, so they can make arrangements to attend the conference.

You know you’re a star marketer. Now let the rest of Texas — as well as your boss and board — know just how great you are by submitting your best and most successful work in this year’s Texas Credit Union Marketing Council Lone Star Awards competition.

Objectives

  1. The primary objective of the Lone Star Awards is to recognize credit union marketing and business development, and to acknowledge success within the Texas credit union industry.
  2. The second objective is to set a standard of excellence in credit union marketing and business development that professionals can strive for.
  3. The third objective is to increase the awareness and quality of the credit union marketing and business development professional within the credit union movement.

Who Can Enter?

Any Texas credit union affiliated with the Texas Credit Union League can enter. An individual submits materials on behalf of a credit union, but the credit union is the official entrant and will receive any awards regardless of who prepares the entry or pays the fee. Awards will bear both an individual’s name and the credit union’s name. Neither judges nor their agencies will be allowed to participate in the competition.

Qualifying Time Frame

The qualifying time period for this year’s competition is July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. Entries must have been distributed to your members for the first time and final results obtained during this time period.
