Coastal Community Accepts Dora Maxwell Award
Carol Gaylord Purdy, president and CEO of Coastal Community FCU in Galveston accepts first place award from Gary Davis, vice chair of the League's Awards & Recognition Committee and president and CEO
of Chocolate Bayou Community FCU in Alvin. Coastal Community took a first place award at the state level in the $20-$50 million in assets category. The credit union's entry advanced to the
national competition, where it placed honorable mention. According to the Credit Union National Association, 160 entries were received in the national competition.
