Documentation, Compliance and Regulatory Update on Texas Accounts

If you open and document accounts in Texas, this is the seminar for you! An A to Z on all the Texas law, documentation requirements plus the federal Bank Secrecy requirements to open accounts. Texas has had many new procedures for business accounts and other type of accounts. We also address those tough member questions such as "Does my will override a POD? or What happens if the custodian dies on a UTMA? Do I have to sign that share certificate document?" Do you know the answers? If not, you will learn great answers to hard questions. Bring a copy of your account card and account agreement as many issues are addressed in your card during the program.

Instructor - Deborah L. Crawford

President of gettechnical inc. She specializes in the education of credit union employees and officers in the areas of deposit account laws, new account documentation, complex compliance regulations, and IRAs. Crawford is well known within the industry for her humorous delivery, personal accounts, and promise to reach each and every attendee in her seminar.

Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) may earn up to 6 continuing education credits (CPE) for this Compliance Review Seminar. No advance preparation or prerequisites are required. Fee Per Person/Per Seminar - $349
Walk-ins accomodated on a space available basis. Your investment includes instruction, extensive handouts, continental breakfast, lunch, and two (2) refreshment breaks.

Registrant Cancellation Policy
Registration fee refunds are granted for cancellations received two weeks prior to each seminar, with a processing fee of $50. Substitutions are always welcome.

Seminar Cancellation Policy
Locations with less than 20 registrants three weeks out may be cancelled. In event of cancellation, all registrants will be notified.

Grant Assistance
