The required Policies List below is not inclusive as requirements are continually changing and most of the policies are unique to each credit union based on services and products offered, however this list should provide you with some frame of reference. If you find you need sample policies, we have 48 new policies online at www.tcul.coop under the compliance/Reg. Issues tab, then select the InfoSight Compliance Online Manual and select the "Model Policies" tab on your left. You will need a user id and password to access this web information. If you do not find the policy you are looking for, check with your TCUL League Representative. They often have additional sample policies that they can share.

Make sure to include a Concentration Risk Policy and a Directorship Policy. These are recent change and have not been added to the Policy list attached below. A sample Directorshop Policy can be found on the State Department's Website for State Chartered credit unions. Federally chartered credit unions can refer to letter 11-FCU-02 for guidance on writing the policy. The model policies on the TCUL website are not designed as ready-to-use policies to be adopted without performing your own research and due diligence. Policies should be carefully researched and developed to ensure that all aspects of a credit union's operations are considered and included before a policy is adopted.
