The Awards & Recognition Committee of the Texas Credit Union League (TCUL), realizing the great contributions of small credit union leaders, voted unanimously in April 2004 to create an award specifically for credit union professionals who serve credit unions that are $50 million and under in assets. 

The Texas Credit Union Achievers Award is designed to recognize accomplishments, time and effort in support and promotion of the credit union movement by professionals dedicated to serving credit unions $50 million and under in assets.
