Presenter: Ann Brode, Brode Consulting Services, Inc. Date: Thursday, April 12, 2012 Time: 2:00 - 3:30 pm Central
Focus: Your website is a powerful tool. However, it can cause compliance problems, too! Multiple regulations (covering loans, deposits, fair lending, privacy, etc.) put strict requirements on website content and operation. This webinar will provide the necessary information to effectively manage website compliance and meet these stringent requirements. It will also review issues related to social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. Since more financial institutions are utilizing this technology, social media has become a hot button in the regulatory world.
Examiners are taking a tough stance on website compliance. Best practices dictate an annual review of your site, at a minimum. The compliance officer should be the first – not the last – to know if any issues arise. This session will provide tools to conduct an audit and review and will explain all compliance requirements. Numerous tools, sample forms, and checklists will be included.
