Curtis Collins, Inducted 2010

Curtis Collins has more than 45 years of volunteer service with JSC FCU, including 17 years on its credit committee and more than 28 years on its board of directors. This dedicated credit union volunteer is active at the local, state and national levels. Collins originated the Credit Union Volunteers Association for the Houston Chapter of Credit Unions, and conducts formal training for local credit union volunteers in the CUNA Volunteer Achievement Program (VAP).

This former chair of the Texas Credit Union Foundation currently serves on the board of the National Credit Union Foundation. Collins has attained eight levels of certification in the CUNA VAP, and is a Certified Credit Union Development Educator.
