Judging

Professionals from the credit union industry, marketing academia and advertising industry will judge the entries. To assure your credit union’s work is judged against those with comparable budgets and resources, entries are broken into five (5) asset categories. Each entry will be judged against other entries in its category.

Judges work independently of each other and will evaluate each entry based on the following criteria:   

  • Results - How well did the entry do given its objective, budget and credit union’s strategy? Did the idea behind the entry produce the results or meet the objective it was supposed to?
  • Creativity – The entry’s design elements (typography, art, color, white space, quality of printing) or in the case of electronic, the entry’s use of talent, visuals, sound and reproduction quality. Does the design and creativity enhance the idea and make it better? 
  • Information/Education - The entry’s headlines, body copy and script. Was the writing effective in helping sell the idea? Was the piece educational and informative?
