Petula Workman graduated from University of Texas in Austin with a BA from the Plan II Honors Program. She received her juris doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center and is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist. She has extensive experience helping organizations comply with PPACA, ERISA, COBRA, cafeteria plan regulations, nondiscrimination requirements, GINA, MHPAEA, HIPAA and other legislative matters, such as FMLA and ADA, that impact employee benefits. She is also a frequent speaker for the industry and human resources organizations, including SHRM, CPA, Payroll, and other business organizations.
