Just My Imagination Running Away with Me…Annual Idea Share

Gather the latest brochures, newsletters, postcards, and other marketing and business development materials created at your credit union, and bring them to the Idea Share. Tables are provided to display and share samples. Bring at least 25 copies of various materials, along with your business cards, to share with others.

Who Will Get the Bragging Rights? 2010 Marketing/Business Development Professional of the Year?

This award recognizes an individual for outstanding work in credit union marketing and communications, or business development. Selected by a panel of out-of-state judges, the award is presented annually at the conference. Judges consider two overall areas of accomplishment:

  • Biographical information
  • Four recent work samples

The 2010 Marketing/Business Development Professional of the Year will be announced during the conference luncheon on Thursday, October 7th.

The 2009 Marketing/Business Development Professional of the Year was Eve Hernandez, VP of Marketing & Business Development, generations federal credit union.

Texas Credit Union Marketing Council Annual Meeting

The Texas Credit Union Marketing Council Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. All conference registrants are invited to attend. Established in 1995, the Texas Credit Union Marketing Council supports networking and service opportunities through the Texas Credit Union League. Membership is open to paid staff from Texas Credit Union League affiliated credit unions. The annual membership dues support the functions and activities of the Council to benefit Texas marketing and business development professionals. The Council has a nine-member Executive Committee, composed of marketing professionals, elected by the Council’s members.

Fifteenth Annual Texas Lone Star Awards

Awards for Excellence in Credit Union Marketing and Public Relations

The Texas Lone Star Awards recognize and honor excellence in credit union marketing and public relations. Winning entries will be announced at the conference on Thursday, October 7, 2010. Specific awards will not be announced prior to the awards presentation; however, award finalists will be notified in advance so they can make arrangements to attend the conference.

The Texas Credit Union Marketing Council sponsors this unique award competition. Credit unions throughout Texas are encouraged to participate.
