A thorough understanding of title insurance policies and commitments is essential to personnel who deal with real estate loans. This webinar will provide the information needed to understand the proper use of title insurance policies and commitments, including insuring provisions, exclusions from coverage, precedent conditions and stipulations, and endorsements. Each part of the ALTA standard form policy and commitment will be examined and the new ALTA endorsement adopted in April 2012 will be reviewed. After this webinar, you will be able to confidently handle the next title insurance issue that arises in your credit union.
This informative session is designed for loan officers, loan operations personnel, managers, auditors, compliance officers, and other credit union personnel that deal with title policies and commitments.
Attendance verification for CE credits provided upon request.
